Pookbellums Post Holiday Plans

I am so excited and relieved that Christmas is ALMOST here. It has been a blessed and busy season and I look forward to some down time in the coming weeks. However, I will still continue to create pookbellum products for those interested.

I have streamlined my products & hope to start either an online store or etsy shop in the very near future! If you check out the 'product' link you'll see some of the more recent changes to my stuff. More details on that option to come...

Since the best sellers are BY FAR the brooch pins and headbands, I will be focusing my efforts on creating those items in the coming months. Look for new fabrics and prints, new styles (I have some flower ideas that I am working with) and perhaps even necklaces using the combination of my flowers. Can you say, "anthropologie" knockoff? Yeah, I love that store. Such great style.

Some people have asked me where I learned to make the flowers on the pins and headbands and the honest answer is that I did not learn it... I just kind of... well, created it..one day, in my house. I was at that time thinking about the possibility of making something for a friend for a gift on a tight budget. I know that the flowers are not so completely dissimilar to the ones found in the stores. However knowing that what you get when you purchase a pookbellum item involves reusing items that would otherwise go in the landfill is being a "green" and responsible shopper. In addition, the folks at His Harvest Stand are very thankful for your donation that accompanies each purchase.
Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas!
